In the 1980s the Craig Vetter Fuel Economy Challenge led to bikes getting over 200 MPG in real-world highway riding, but the last one was held in 1985. He's bringing the challenge back with multiple rides this year - and including a division for electrics.

That is great. I hopes he gets some good entries in the EV division.

For the first time ever, electric bikes will compete in a Vetter Challenge. Nobody expects an electric bike to actually go 100 miles at real highway speeds. Yet. But, how far can they go? The one that goes the farthest will be the winner.
Now that sounds like a challenge!!
