Hey there...
I had just replied to Macboy and realized I hadn't intro'd first.

I'm currently converting a Kawasaki ZX6. I'll be posting some pictures over the next few days. Getting close to being on the road with it, so I'm really looking forward to testing my range, speed, etc. Just using SLA batteries right now to keep the build cost down, but I'd really like to use LiFePO4.

Glad to be here and I'll be checking out the site for some cool tips.

Welcome! You'll find lots of very helpful and knowledgable people here. Share your build details and ask away if we can help.

Welcome to the fun. Pics when you can since we love to drool over other Elmotos.

Just tried to create an album and uploaded some pictures (don't see them yet). Went for my first ride this morning around sunrise (other than prior testing down the street and back)... I didn't go very far, but the first time after a full charge and first time to 90 km/hr. I like it.

Hey Foz, nice to "meet" you. If you're ever in the mood for a coffee with a stranger I'd zip out to Stony Plain to shoot the breeze a bit. You might be just what I need to push me into finally doing this after so many years of reading & wishing but never getting off the pot.

I had no idea there were guys building electric bikes around here. I'd love to see some.

I run a local news web site here in Stony Plain: Tri Area News (http://trinews.ca). I'd love to see some photos of anyone with an electric bike in this area.

Cheers,
Justin

I hope to get it licensed for the road within the next week or two (depending on how busy work gets). I need to take some current (no pun intended) pictures and add them to my album on this site. So far the pictures I've posted are from a year ago.
I'll let you know when it's ready.
