Last Saturday I had both recalls fixed at my local Zero dealer while I waited. They also repaired a failed turn signal flasher unit by removing one from a showroom bike and installing it on my bike. (Zero is a little slow when sending out replacement parts.) Everything is running and working great now. I might add that I only had to wait two days to schedule the service appointment. :)

do they have technicians that are trained for EV's or just using motorcycle mechanics???

They are using the shops motorcycle mechanics to perform the work on Zero motorcycles. However, they have been servicing and repairing the Zero line for the past three years, so I guess they know what they are doing by now. Plus, I suspect they get training from the factory rep. The service manager told me that a Zero employee stops by every couple of weeks to drop off parts and for administrative reasons.
