Hello,

I went on the web to find American Manufacturers of batteries. I only found lead acid batteries.

Does any one have ideas?

I'd be totally shocked if that "american" manufacturer actually made the batteries in the USA.

You are chasing a ghost.

EnerDel is in Indiana. Does that count? They may get some primary cell components from outside USA, but most formulation and all assembly of cells into batteries are done in Indianapolis.

Valence has their HQ in Austin, but don't actually make anything there.

I figured Indiana wouldn't count :-) Russian ownership but mostly Americans working there; Hoosiers, I guess.

Dow Kokam? (http://www.dowkokam.com/about-dow-kokam/global-capabilities/midland-battery-park/)

There is a strong connection to Korea for Kokam. Here is a pretty good list of Lithium cell companies. http://liionbms.com/php/cells.php
