"When you light that fuse, hang on" said Dunne."

Almost an Oxymoron comment?

Great stuff and good luck. I will be watching and would love to make run up the mountain, even as under powered as we would be. :) :) :)

From practice run #8 on Sunday: Carlin Dunne, Lightning, 4:17.338 and Jeremiah Johnson, Zero, 5:35.281. http://www.mylaps.com/en/classification/2726205 Says practice was 5.16 mile where the race is like 12.4 mile. Anybody else got any news or gossip about the race?

I love it! Beating the ICEs head to head on an international stage could be a sea change in perception.

Well yeah, but you know they have an advantage because of the altitude. Right? :)

You know it's going to be said. :D

And the relatively short course. But the bike was made for the race, not the other way 'round, which is one of the things I feel has been hampering general acceptance. Drag racing and other short course races are great opportunities to challenge acceptance. I just don't want to be the one in charge of making different class rules...
