I did a conversion on this 1993 Honda CBR a couple of years back. I had a lot of fun, learned a lot and the bike turned out awesome. But now I'm ready to move on to the next thing. It's a running project, but if I were to bring it to completion, I'd reorder the components and then have the frame/plastic finished.
I would prefer to sell the whole thing, but I would be willing to entertain offers for selected components. The complete project includes the following pieces:
Motor: HPGC AC-15 motor and Curtis 1238-6501 controller -- http://bit.ly/1PNPHpr

Batteries: 25 CALB 100 AH LifePO batteries (24 installed, 1 extra) http://bit.ly/1PNPDWS

BMS: Manzanita BMS with the following components
Mk3x8 Regulator boards
Touchscreen display
State of Charge Unit
Dongle terminator
Shunt & RROB

Other:
VICOR power inverter 72V AC to 12V DC
Delta Q programmable charger
LEV200 Contactor
Chennic power inverter
Assorted sprockets
8 single cell LifePO chargers

The motor/controller probably have 50 hours running time total and I have never really run it hard. The batteries have gone through about 50 full charge cycles. All batteries are fully equalized. They should be good for many, many more cycles.

I'm offering all components listed above as a bundle for $3900, including the bike (Or not. If you just want components, I will uninstall them). There are a few components I would sell separately: Batteries $2,000, Motor and Controller $2,000, BMS $500.

These prices do not include shipping costs. That would need to be figured separately. I am in zip code 33967 (southwest Florida).

Looks like a nice bike- perfect Florida transport. What kind of range does this bike get?

Hi Ned, yeah, the flat landscape around here definitely improved total range. It is typically good for about 75 to 85 miles, depending on how I have it geared.

The BMS components have been sold, so what remains are the following:

Motor: HPGC AC-15 motor and Curtis 1238-6501 controller -- http://bit.ly/1PNPHpr
Batteries: 25 CALB 100 AH LifePO batteries (24 installed, 1 extra) http://bit.ly/1PNPDWS
VICOR power inverter 72V AC to 12V DC
Delta Q programmable charger
LEV200 Contactor
Chennic power inverter
Assorted sprockets
8 single cell LifePO chargers

All components including bike: $3,400
Motor/controller only: 1,900
Batteries only: $1,800

Basically, this remains a complete conversion, installed, for $3400. Whatta deal!
