    A 185-mile range and top speed of 120mph. Is this the future?

    THIS is the Lito Sora, a new electric motorcycle made in Canada.

    Lito specialise in electrial drive systems and electrical energy storage and the Sora is their first motorcycle.

    The Sor has a claimed range of 185 miles from one charge and has a top speed of 120mph. It hs a clever 'Safe Range' system that ensures you won't run out of power - you tell the bike how far you have to travel and it will manage your power, so you don't blast long at 100mph and run out of juice 5 miles down the road.

      I wonder what the chance is that the Sora makes it to Europe..

      This has been around a while. Have they actually started selling them yet? I see a price in the article, but nothing to say that you can actually get one. And since the price is in pounds it suggests that they might be available in Europe.

      I just sent a request for a test ride. We'll see how real they are.

      They've had CAD models for a while - these are the first pictures of a prototype I've seen. That's progress.

      It's a Canadian company - I think the price is in pounds because Visordown is a UK magaznie. If that price is correct, it's a $41,000 motorcycle. :0

      I've seen pictures of it before, not just CAD models.
