" Heres a better look at it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkM0L4_W_pM
Looks better than a Cybertruck thats for sure. Im still waiting for better batteries before I buy one, but the tech is impressive and done right in my opinion.
Oh, and the "Sea of Tranquility" is a classy touch. Very cool design idea. "

Are you talking about the World Solar Challenge that has run 15 times since 1987, including last year?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Solar_Challenge

GM/Aerovironment won the first year at 41.57 mph average...not too shabby. Most years were at least that good, many were faster. Speed is very dependent on the weather, of course. The best speed was in 2005 by Eindhoven University of Technology at 63.7 mph average. You may have heard of them.

There is now a Cruiser class with cars that are a bit more practical.

The winning 2019 team are now working on a production version.

" I remember watching a similar thing at Laguna Seca decades ago, but I think most of the bikes were still gas powered to see who got the most miles per gallon. "

I can see some kind of fold out accordion style solar array bike cover for charging.

Good luck with that. Do the people who think up stuff like that have any idea how long it takes to recharge a motorcycle-size battery using solar cells of a size that are typically installed on a home roof? And if they are thinking that you only need sunlight to power a motorcycle and do not need a rechargeable battery then I hope all of their travel is downhill.

You gotta love politicians for their ability to make new technology sound so simple and easy. "

Good luck!

It's a great setup I've used on a few builds, and sold to multiple customers. It's pretty easy to set up and wire. You made a good choice.
