@IsaacW: actually, I found a picture of the cutter I used: http://mariecameronstudio.com/blog/silk-screen-printing-at-the-techshop/. It was a US Cutter MH1351, at least 34", maybe 50".

Unfortunately, I don't remember what type it was. I used whatever was available at the TechShop (RIP) back at the time. Though, it was a bit larger and more industrial than the home machines like...
The wifi camera is cool. I don't like to listen to anything when riding, so personally I don't really need the bluetooth stuff. This is somewhat OT, but I think Reevu low-tech helmet that has a rear...
Nope. Nothing to see here. I'm back under my rock. :)
There are a bunch of people on this site who have bought Enertrac motors (myself included). It's been a few years since I've spoken with Mark, but he was a great guy to work with when I was working...
$28.8K for the EGO, that's less than the $38K that was advertised. I wonder how many they'll sell. It'd be nice to see one in the wild.
Right! I run mine at 24V on @markcycle's recommendation (well from running a my original Kelly KBL controller).
yes, exactly.
maybe also make sure the hall sensor wires are correct and/or swap them up too.
Bummer. It was a long shot.
From what you mention though, I don't think I ever received a "reset error" in the window either. I just reset the controller and re-read the config.
Have you...
It's been a while since I setup my KLS-8080I on my bike, so unfortunately, I don't remember much of the specifics now.
however, when I did it, I made a video. I'm not sure if it'll help, but...
For smaller motors, try the revolt line. Revolt.org.il.
Cool. I may join you sometime when it's not raining. :)
Hey there. good questions. I can answer a couple.
You can do it with a single throttle and two controllers.
Yep, you can. You can dial the two controllers to have different levels...
Welcome dude! Can't wait to see what you're going to do. :) BTW, ask lots of questions. This is a great group to learn from (and teach for that matter). :)
Can you use an outrunner? How about the revolt RV120-short (http://www.revolt.org.il/rv-120/rv-120pro-short/)?

Add enerdels to that list of great cells that you can source for a good price. :)
I think that's correct. The relationship of Volts <-> RPMs is based on the number of turns or windings in the motor. The RC folks often talk about the "KV" of a motor, which (i think) basically...
Also, marginally related, the apparently the difference between the more expensive KLS8080-D and cheaper KLS8080-S (that are generally in the same voltage/current range) other than the form factor...
It's metric I think, but it's close to 6 or 8 gauge. Well, mine is at least. I'm not sure if that's changed in the last couple of years.
I think I may be able to get the motor on the swingarm relatively near the pivot. The unsprung weight should be less than the hub motor anyway. Also, it's a scooter so unsprung weight isn't that big...
Yeah, that's what I did. i was slowing using the front brake from around 20mph. At the time I started making the right turn (on the sand) I bit it I was going 9.6mph.
Can you take a picture of the back of it? I'm ordering a RV-160 Short for my zapino project but haven't seen what the back end of the motor (where the mounting is) looks like. Thanks!
Random question. Is this type of fall (front washing out on sand in a turn) that having ABS could have prevented/helped with?
The controller isn't actually a single controller, it's two controllers. Check out the thread over at endless-sphere where some folks have been helping me:...
I was forwarded this email from someone in our local EAA. Maybe someone here is interested...
