    Re: New member

Hello everyone, I'm Tyler Bennett from SC and a newbie here. I just picked up a new Elmoto last week and want to learn something about it.

Planning to go in the track with my Elmoto. How many time do we need to charge it in a day?

It's not so much how many times to charge it.... the important thing is to not "over discharge" it... and be careful not to "over charge" it.
How many times you charge/discharge or cycle it will have an eventual accumulating effect on its longevity, but the discharge of the pack can destroy it if you go too low
    Current rides: '96 Honda Ohlins VFR, '03 Cannondale C440R, '03 Cannondale Cannibal, '06 Yamaha 450 Wolverine 4x4
    Current builds: eVOR.v3.3
    WORX.VOR.v3.2

Looks like a production machine so I'd expect there's a BMS (@Tyler: Battery mangement system) in there which will handle that bit for him at least.

As above, batteries do have a finite cycle count; but by that same notion, the only way to get value from the thing is to ride is - so simple answer, charge as much as you need to in order to use it as much as you want.
That may sound like a cop-out answer, but your ride style and terrain will determine the endurance on any given charge cycle, so it is a very individual thing.

Thanks for your great response Spoonman. I think your suggestion help me a lot.
