Thanks Ted, I posted a trip route map on Off The Grid page like you suggested. Good idea in case I were to run out of charge and dehydrate and die or something. J/K...at least I hope lol. I'm in Kissimmee now and will be headled to Miami later today.

Charging electric motorcycles Off The Grid in Orlando Florida
Now that is a determined elmoto enthusiast. Especially as there are likely fewer charging stations in the southern U.S. once you get away from the east coast I hope the weather holds up. So far it is looking good for the next week in CA and I assume the weather comes here first before heading east. Best wishes Terry. Have fun, take photos and write an article or book about your adventure. I think you will be the first person to ever ride across the U.S. on an EV without major factory support.
bill_terry_charge.jpgFinding charge points close enough in AZ, and NM will probably be challenging. He's got that bike loaded with extra chargers (he can max out both the L1 and L2 ports on a Chargepoint), and his saddlebags are full of headways that he's planning to wire into range boosting packs, while waiting for charges at places that can only provide 110v.
We shared a Chargepoint as he came through town. He's looping from Central Florida down to Miami to see folks for Thanksgiving, and as a shakedown to make sure all the latest charger and programming changes he made are solid before heading west.
Made it 500 miles in 24 hours from St Petersburg to Pensacola. Can someone share some pics from off the grid for others to see? I'm jumping on the bike now and should be in Alabama in 2 hours. Thanks!

That's an awesome pace you're setting Terry! Sounds like a blast!
