    Aprilia RS 125 conversion

I'm finally working on the electric motorcycle conversion, that I've been dreaming for a long time. The donor bike is Aprilia RS 125. This build is a hobby for me and I'll take my time to enjoy it.

Welcome and thanks for creating the entertaining videos! I too am currently converting an Italian bike to e-bike. My version 1 is here: http://vorworxemc.wix.com/vorworx. I am currently upgrading chassis, motor and battery pack as finances allow.
I would suggest using HID for headlight instead of 55 watt halogen bulb... Like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Motor-Motorc...item1e9eb38208
I was thinking also of using Android for dash board using something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Waterproof-M...item3f4cbf2968
The android app is where I am going to need help. I would like it to control my BMS/charging program, my speedometer, GPS, and all displays. With the right programming, it could also be used to control the motor... Its a frigging computer for God's sake! Any assistance in this part of the project will be much appreciated! Cheers!!

    Current rides: '96 Honda Ohlins VFR, '03 Cannondale C440R, '03 Cannondale Cannibal, '06 Yamaha 450 Wolverine 4x4

I think I would have hard time registering the bike with HID, since the original headlight isn't approved for it. That said, I'm not sure will the PWM controlled Halogen pass the inspection, either.

For the gauge/instruments, I'll most likely make some fixed speedometer and warning lights. Then I'll add a holder for the phone when I wan't to see more detailed info. As said, this was my first Android app, but I think I'm able to program the features I personally need to it.

My search for motors is progressing. My main options at the moment are used LEM-200 with new bearing and brushes OR two RC-120 motors coupled in one shaft.

Maximum that I want to pay is 2000€ (including 24% import tax outside EU) for motor and controller. I'm looking for something that would give me 10kW continuous and 20-30kW peak power.

How do you plan on coupling the two motors to one shaft?

Yes, I actually contacted Revolt and they could make the custom shaft for me.

I would go for the Motenergy ME1302 with a sevcon programmed to match.

What controller would you use with that? One of my first plans was to use ME0913, but I couldn't find a suitable controller.
