    Tesla BMS

Now that Tesla modules are coming onto the market, does anyone have recommendations for a BMS?

The slave modules on the tesla battery modules are cracked. I am currently working on getting some code for the Teensy family working with the tesla modules.

Using Tesla's own BMS looks cool.

EV West just got back to me and recommends their LinkPro battery meter. http://www.evwest.com/catalog/produc...roducts_id=138

To be fair EV west have no clue what they are doing. These are not the "safe" Lipo cells they are used to.

Please do not go without a cell voltage monitor.

The Linkpro only seems to monitor the whole pack. Not what I understood a BMS to do.

How much are these modules selling for? What is the total pack voltage for each module?

    Under 24s. Search Chargery bms-24.
Retail $300 600 amp remote display thru rj connector.
    Matching 1500 W charger.
    Usa stock soon.
Over 24s to 30s there are Chinese bluetooth bms from $150 to $350. Optional lcd display for some.

On DIYelectriccar.com, Boekle has bridged them to 50v modules.
