I'm here now. :-) I love the racetrack. Gene (Skeezmor) brought his electric dual sport. Zero and Brammo and Lightning are here so far.

Piss poor planning on my part. I'm heading to Chicago next week. Could have called in to Infineon on the way. Damn it.

I'm there/here. FWIW, I also have a new (and pretty long) interview in this weeks MotoPod with Michael Czysz.

Hey LFP, it was nice to finally meet you yesterday, even if I couldn't remember your real name and called you macgyver (from your ability to create chargers from a box of bisquick). the zeros look great, and it looks like you're going to have a great race. I'll be back tomorrow so I'll see you then!

I heard Steve Atlas had a bad accident, but Brammo has already fixed the bike and found another rider. Atlas will be back in a "few weeks." Steve Rapp, who rode Mission last year, is the new rider according to Brammo.
I also hear that the Lightning bike is looking really good, too. This is getting exciting...

Sadly, Steve Rapp had a crash. Broken wrist, maybe more.
My sympathy goes out to you Steve, you're a hell of a good rider, I wish you a speedy recovery.

David Herron posted some updates on the Brammo team, and the two Steves.

That's a bad blow for Brammo, especially with the unveiling of the Empulse R on the 8th.

It's also bad for the race itself. Brammo Icon was the only team that could try to give Lightning a real race. The Zeros were more than 20 seconds behind...

    TTXGP definitely needs more participants.

I read through the news section on the TTXGP website. It's a shame about Brammo. I am curious if anyone who was there happened to see the bike in action and could comment on the way it ran with the transmission?
