    Podbuilder... nice set of components.

I have just bought some extra headways direct from china using paypal. You can contact one of the sales representatives here linda19850507@gmail.com
I know the email address doesn't look the greatest but this is the 3rd time I have purchased over the last 3 years. They add a surcharge for the PayPal order but their prices are really good.

    Here's some parts so far...

Just got some second hand tyres.

Wheels are little more difficult. You cant just buy off the shelf wheels with the correct offset I require. So they have to be made. The centres of these wheels will be cut out and welded into 14" wide rims.

This is the front wheel mount and steering arm. I'll mill a hole for some bearings and cut off the excess length.

Im looking at getting 2 lots of headway 10ah cells in a 24sp2p combination. Does the BMS on board the battery pack also control the max output from the battery? or is that controlled through the Kelly controller? Reason I ask is I'm thinking of starting with a 20Ah pack to start with then buying another latter on. Is it just a matter of joining in the second pack and your done? Or does the BMS require changing?

Depends on the BMS you buy. If you get a built pack from Headway their BMS controls the max output... but most other ones allow you to either operate a buzzer or cut the contacter. I just use the buzzer.

Any of the headway cells... individual or pre built in packs. Honestly I think you should get individual cells and mount an external BMS. I bought ones from these guys http://zeva.com.au/Products/ note theirs does not balance the pack just stops you from wrecking it.
