Why Solar EV Charging Won't Work

hmm. so the energy in your gas comes from little plants and **** that soaked up sunshine a long time ago. so sun > critters 'n plants > dead and mushed > millions of years > oil wells > refineries > pumps and trucks and **** > your car.

    OR

solar array > electricity > your car.

won't work. makes too much sense.

You are wrong, Fight Club Ted! Human beings are gifted with reason and opposable thumbs. They always follow logic and the betterment of mankind when making decisions.

(It felt good to get that off my chest. I think I'll go drink a Red Bull and smoke a pack of Marlboros while watering my bermuda grass.)

I read that it takes 30 years in savings to pay for solar panels if you just use them to power your house, but, only takes 10 years if you also use them to fuel your electric car.

    Ted vs Noah

    Part 1

    Part 2

On a more serious note, isn't it solar array > electricity > battery array > your car? Come to think of it, that battery array could be quick swapped, if you had an engine hoist.

Let me know when your gasoline starts paying for itself... (PS - I realize you're being pro solar here)

So your solar panel pays for itself in 30 years (electric bill savings) and your electric motorcycle pays for itself (gasoline savings) in 10 years maybe.
