    At the expense of speed.

Ie: lower voltage = lower speed

Not to mention requirements for thicker cables.

It's all part of the experience of going where few have tread before. I guess I will have to work out the gear ratios to get the best of accelleration Vs distance for my paticular setup.

Go for it. Atleast the parts will be cheaper. I'm aiming for 96V, so my stuff will be a lot dearer.

The other benefit is if I have the room I can add more batteries in the future to make it 72v,

    Donor search is over!

I bought a 1995 ZX6R and have already removed most stuff in prep for engine removal.

Was going g to weigh every part but didn't have scales and wanted to get a head start.

The bike came with rego but this thing was so bad in condition that it had to be taken off the road immediately.

Most people scrap the wiring harness yeah? Mine is pretty bad. I'll keep the connectors though.
