    Compact Charger

    Hi,

I have two 13s3p A123 packs, 3.3V nominal and 3.6V per cell at charge voltage.

I am getting a delta Q 1kw charger, can anyone recommend a more compact charge able to charge the pack at 93.6V? It can be a slow charger, i am planning on using the delta Q as my "home" charger and the compact charger as my onboard charger.

    thanks

    R

Kind of an odd voltage and more difficult to find something small and off the shelf. Look at batteryspace.com, but most will be for 12s or 14s.

I use (2) 36 volt cheap ebay chargers for my on-board charging. Made for Razor scooters....$14 each. They are isolated smart chargers, small, light and work great. 1.6 amp @ 84 volts. Just put what you need in series....they are available in 12,24,36,48 volts. They fit nicely in my underseat area so I only take them when needed.
