    Victory Empulse Electric motorcycle

Victory has just announced their first electric motorcycle. It appears to be an updated and more expensive version of last year's Brammo Empulse R. Below are links to various articles about the new motorcycle:

Surprised they are retaining the gearbox....thought it would be dropped by now.

My guess is that Victory is doing some "badge-engineering" so that they can get the bike into their dealers and customers hands quickly. That way their dealers can become familiar with EVs, how to market, service and repair them. It will probably be next year or the year after before Victory shows off an electric motorcycle designed in-house. I see this as a relatively inexpensive (for Victory) trial balloon to see if it flies or pops.

I think Motorcycle.com has published the best review of the Victory Empulse so far: http://www.motorcycle.com/manufactur...de-review.html
