Nice! You win. Um. A smile? :-D (sorry, i don't have much to offer).

Yep, it's a KLS8080I (144V/300A) Sinusoidal brushless controller. I'm borrowing it form Mark from Enertrac to do some road testing with an Enertrac 602 motor. I'll update my build thread with the info.

I currently have one of the D models, 450amp 72 volt. Seems to be quite awesome... gotta get it on my bike sometime soon.

It's sure a hell of a lot easier to setup than a Sevcon. The auto-configuration worked really well for me so far.

We did get mine into a 4 wheel contraption with the same motor as my bike...

With the tires warm it becomes very interesting

    the control algorithim.

Brushless cannot have any rotor/stator slip and AC needs it to produce torque.

Do you know what the difference between the KLS-D and KLS-S models are (other than the packaging and the lack of CANBus on the KLS-S? There's a KLS-D 24-72V 350A, and a KLS-S 24-72V 350A. The KLS-S is almost half the price of the KLS-D, so I figure there's something I'm missing.
