    Agni max voltage

    I am building a bike with leaf cells and I want voltage to be as high as possible max 90 V.

    Maximum voltage for Agni 95R is 84 V according to service manual. If higher voltage used - motor maximum speed exceeds 6000 RPM and there is risk that the armature burst apart.

    But if I gear my bike such way that rpm never exceeds 6000 will it be safe to use Agni95R?

    Say I want my bike maximum speed be 120 km/h. Circumference of my rear wheel is 2 meter so at 120 km/h maximum RPM of rear wheel will be 1000. if I use 15T in front and 62T sprocket at rear = 4. 133, motor RPM will be 4133.

    To reach motor maximum RPM 6000 bike's speed need to be over 176 km/h, and I never will reach that speed...

    Do I miss something?

    Just use 11 leaf cells and gear for 5% more then your max speed not to exceed 6000 rpm. My bike is geared for 13/72, top speed ~75 mph, rpm just under 6K. Keep in mind the Leaf cells voltage curve is steeper then Lifpo4 so your top speed is changing as you drive!
