Best ~10kg motor at the moment?
I'm trying to find the best/latest motor for a light powerful motorcycle, possibly for racing. Motor should be about 10kg and up to 50kW peak. I have an Agni, but its not reliable enough at that power level.
The Agni will be 10 years old soon. Are there any modern 10-11kg brushless motors which can beat it?
I'm also interested in smaller motors, maybe 5kg, for small light bikes to be ridden on indoor gocart tracks.

I can add the Emrax 208 for comparison, question: should I put 3 (AC/LQ/CC) or 9 (+HV/MV/LV) variants in?

I would just add the 208, since the power rating for those is already way more then plenty for the range of motors you have so far.

How about the controllers for the Emrax? I remember when the 208 was new there was only a few controller which could handle it. Because of Low inductance, e.t.c.
Which controller is suitable for the 207 with low voltage windings?
For Emrax, check first if the top speed is not too slow for your application, it was for mine.

Look also how much current you will need to feed the Emrax if you run at low voltage and still want all the power, it's not small.
Hi Marcexec LV is voltage level fit for us "do it yourself" people, I believe.

The one in your link states 30A. That would be 3600W at 6000rpm if it's for the 50kv, otherwise more.
Compared to 1700W at 6000 on the Emrax.
Also in my opinion Emrax motors are the best choice in the 40-80Kw range.
They have well designed and builded their product.
Another thing in my point of view that is very important is that have tested and well characterized their motors.
They explored the motor limit with special instrumentations at Siemens laboratories.
So they could make a very precise and detailed documentation that gives credibility to their product performance.
In my opinion is this last thing that lacks in the products proposed by China.
Written data are too generic and incomplete, so their presentation makes them seem false.
It may be that they are good motors, but until someone does not buy them and test them it remain a possible swindle.
