Some around here have managed in the region of 0.06kWh/km but I can't imagine that the sort of riding it takes to achieve that would be a whole lot of fun (

I can also confirm these numbers above, 0.1kWh/km for moderate to rough riding , down to 0.08kWh/km for the boring rides LOL (280 kg build without driver and a few hills)

I don't think I'll be riding it in the economical area, definitely short blasts from zero and then cruise a bit, so it will be in the region of 0.1kWh/km I suppose, as for the vaping world I've been following "Mooch" on FB https://www.facebook.com/batterymooch/ he does quite extensive testing and he's just starting to test some 2170's

I really hope these come out at a reasonable price next year, I'm looking at a budget of around $3000 for the batteries, might have to stretch that though.
As for place under the Busa tank, I thought I could use it as a cover for the Curtis etc. Make a aluminum tray at the top of the frame to mount all the electronics on, not looking to put much weight high of the center of gravity, Like you say though the Busa has a big frame.
I emailed and called a Bill Ritchie at HPEVS the other day and his recommendation would also be the AC-23 with the 1239E @ 144v or if I can fit it the AC-35 with the 1239E @ 144v 
So I'm going to size it all up in AutoCAD.
