    BMW dealer sells Energica motorcycles

My BMW dealer, Calmoto, located in Mountain View, CA just took on the Energica electric motorcycle franchise. It replaces the Triumph franchise that they terminated a couple of years ago. Nothing is cheap about these bikes, especially the accessories!

They have a couple of BMW C-Evolution electric scooters on order but they have not arrived yet.

$28.8K for the EGO, that's less than the $38K that was advertised. I wonder how many they'll sell. It'd be nice to see one in the wild.
EVs: 2007 Zapino Scooter, Honda VF500 Conversion (electriceptor.wordpress.com), Red Nissan LEAF SL (Arrived!)

I was told by the shop owner that the reason the priced dropped for the Energica models was that they sold "carbon credits" on California's carbon-pollution-for-sale market. The money that they made selling their carbon credits allowed them to lower their motorcycles prices, at least in California. I don't know if that is true outside the state.
