    Rolling coal

Doesn't this look like fun. Diesel pickup owners getting back at clean air vehicles and doing what they can to hasten global warming.

    Hi Richard,

Greetings from the other side! I haven't visited this forum for years...

I didn't hear about this phenomenon until quite recently. Whilst I agree that coal rollers are complete and utter pigheads, I can't help but find it amusing.

I just hope they all do the planet a favour by not reproducing...

Despite running a Zero, my environmental credentials are severely wrecked by having three children. I'm afraid condoms will do more to save the planet than electric vehicles. Or perhaps Donald Trump? After all, who in their right mind would want to raise a child in America these days? I'll bet the coal rollers breed like rabbits...

There is a company called Spartan that makes control units for Ford diesels. It is impressive technology and they do get way more power out of these trucks after removing all of the particle filters and unplugging the exhausts. But it's just a matter of time before electric trucks come out that will blow diesels away
