    1995 Suzuki GSX-R conversion

    So now that the 2008 Ninja is finished and my daily driver, I have the opportunity to buy a 1995 Suzuki GSX-R1100. Frame is in amazing shape, fork seals look great, barely any rust, everything is somehow perfect, blown motor I assume, transmission shot I assume, no plastic or gas tank...it's the perfect conversion bike. The guy wants $150 but I think I can get it for free, since he doesn't want it sitting around anymore.

    If I do this, there is a reasonable chance my wife will kill me, but I have the itch and I've learned so much from the first bike that this one would be a much smaller learning curve.

    Plus, I want this to be a beast.

    I'm thinking AC20
    Sevcon Gen4 OR Curtis 650A

    As for batteries I like my nissan leaf cells, they stay perfectly balanced (within .01v) but if there is something with a better KW to Weight ratio, I'd love to discuss it.

    I'm trying to stay under $6,000 total, so no AMR Single Stack 250-90 AC Motor, dual Sevcons and $9,000 worth of GBS batteries.

    I would like it to be between 120-200v system.
