Ah, that answered my question about if you were still doing the single-cell charging. I LOVE that solution.

A Big Thanks to Travis for all his help with getting me "up to speed" with this new controller and PMAC motor stuff.

This weeks progress:
Motor mount completed and painted. Mount is tied to 7 points of the
frame to distribute the load as evenly as possible. (This motor ain't going anywhere.)
Motor, chain and tire spacing installed and aligned.
Cross bar to replace cut out frame section, welded up, painted and installed. This also acts as safety
protection for the motor gear since the motor does not have a threaded center to add a bolt and washer on the end.
Rear brake disk arrived and mounted. New handlebar grips installed.
New controller (Thanks Travis) arrived- reading up on the programming.

Weekly update,
Front brake mount designed, built and installed, Front brake lines ordered, Rear brake assembly ordered.
Battery mounts designed, welded up and installed. Body design determined ( we will do a wrap for this project)
It looks like we will have to shorten the motor wires. Good thing we kept the heavy duty crimper from the last project.
The batteries and controller in the photo are just in the bike for layout purposes. We will do a finally install after it is all wired up.

Sounds like you are moving right along! My project (another EX500) is using the same motor and controller. Id be interested in any tips and tricks you develop to get the most power out of it.

I will let you know once we get it to the track.
I will need to play with the programming. I gather yours will be more of a street application?

This weeks update - All main components are installed. 75% of the control and 40% of the power wiring is complete.
CycleAnalyst operational. Should have it spinning the tire by next weekend.
We checked the weigh today- 340 lbs. Even with the fiberglass body and a few other items, we should be
in the 375 lb range fully dressed....we hope to test by July.
