Did a SHORT test run on our dead end road. It ran well. Gave me that "Speed Smile"
Now it is time to do all the rest of the work to get it track ready. Then we make it pretty.

We have no idea. If the little test runs are any indication it will be good.
The first test ride. I did not get on it too much as the road is short and old rocky asphalt.
I did a few more passes that were quicker. I did not want to push it. We could smell the rear tire rubber on a few of them....

That seems pretty quick even at partial throttle!

This weeks update,
Wiring is complete (as in all the wires tided up, fused and secured. Motor and power wires as short as possible with clearance from all metal parts)
Used larger terminals on motor wires to remove heat from controller connections.
Chainguard (required) built and installed.
Bulk charging connection installed.
Finalized tool box for track

This week we :
Welded tabs and secured the body.
Installed the back brake lines, bled and setup the rear brakes.
Redid the bike stand. It was originally way to high and in the way of the wheelie bar mounts.
Took Tammy to practice her turning on the bike since this is a completely different deal with the
slick and longer wheelbase. She did a great job and "got on it" a few times on the straight sections as she made the rounds.
We will be building front and side covers before anymore testing. (too many rocks getting on the batteries)
More next week!
