Thanks, The "shine" on the track is a sticky compound to help stop wheel spin.

Sounds GREAT Ed! Looking forward to the paint job!! Cheers!
Thank you!
It was a cheap unit from EBAY "Power Converter Regulator DC 60V-120V Step-Down to DC 12V 180W 15A Waterproof".
Sevcon makes good stuff so you should not have any issues.
Changing to a battery cleaned up/removed some of the wiring so it was a good change.

The winglet plates on the bottom were so bad we pulled them off and will replace them.
Got to love the different color primer...

Based on my experience with my 96V gen 2 Chevy volt packs, you may top out at around 500-515 amps without going parallel. They don't overheat, just that's about max current draw that I have been able to eek out.
If you end up getting more let me know, in either case I have been super impressed with the volt cells and construction in general.

One thing to realize, is that the controller max stator amps is 660A. And the 475A is likely battery side. They won't ever be the same. The controller is a bit like a gear converting one RPM/Torque to another. The controller converts one voltage and current out to a modulated 3-phase voltage and current. They won't likely equal often, if at all. So if 475A is battery side, you are not likely going to ever see 660A at the battery, but because it amplifies current, it can push many more amps out on the stator.
