Just got about $56K in backing for a grant application we got in last week. Takes up some of my spare time... like about 50 hours a week lol. Actually think we may find space and get it funded within a month or two. As my 24yr old son tells me, "one step at a time, Dad, one step at a time..."

I'd join up, but your on the wrong coast!
Current rides: '96 Honda Ohlins VFR, '03 Cannondale C440R, '03 Cannondale Cannibal, '06 Yamaha 450 Wolverine 4x4

This is the coolest idea ever. I want to know if STEAM is nation-wide or just in MA. I'm going to do some investigating because this is exactly what Jacksonville needs.

That is one of the nicest CNC router tables that I've seen, it looks very sensibly designed. Many of the DIY tables are very "shade tree" in design and construction.
I made some copies of a radius gauge that is sold by several top people in the metalshaping trade. You can use it to capture a radius from a panel or for general layout work. They were well received as holiday gifts to some of my gearhead/DIY friends. It was pointed out to me that the flat end ought to be labeled as an infinite radius instead of 0, oh well . . .

cheers,
Michael
