He''s putting together a run at Maple Grove, with an audience of 30k for a Guinness record attempt. As he was getting ready he found he had an entire string of bad cells - the new ones are coming in with only enough time to wire them in and do the run!

Here's the break-in run - first pass (I think that was last night):



Jeff commented: "Third pass it spun and shook hard but for the first break in runs this thing is as violent as anything I’ve been on!" "Three passes in 45 minutes! If it stuck the last one would have been really fast and I’m not even close to the max potential of this set up! But yes... safe, straight and fast! Once I have some more runs and comm looks good I’ll turn it to eleven!"

Just chatted with Dice on Facebook. He's pulling 2000A, and his comm isn't even getting warm until something like 4 passes. He said the thing really needs 3500A and he's waiting on more battery. He's running 240V, and is planning to pump that up to 400V.
