    Was there intended to be a link to the linear labs thingamy in the above?

    Looks damnsom complicated to me - can't fully understand exactly what is it that they're doing with it.

    Their logo looks an awful lot like Travis'sIMG_20190404_105616.jpg

    It still uses permanent magnets. I guess it could be called a Variable ACPM (VACPM) motor?
