Did the text entry box revert to black text on gray background for anyone else? I seem to remember this was fixed. I tried the different editors, no luck. Oh, and the editor doesn't register returns (which is why this is all on one line).

I get the same (black on gray) in Firefox. Tried IE, but it won't let me log in (??) Also, at least in FF the login box is white text on white background.

Same issues here - w/ safari on a mac. Plus the log in box won't display anything, leaving me guessing what I entered.

Works fine if you switch to "Default Style".

Yup, default is black text on white background, so works as a temporary fix. Thing is, it was fixed before in "dark", and the rest of the forum is designed for that style. Doesn't fix the issue with returns. Something changed.

Unlike the rest of us, uh, addicts, I'm pretty sure he works during the day. :O (If you can call cavorting around with starletts and lunching with producers working.)

My text is black on white using Firefox and I like it. I have only seen the black background one time and clicking default restored the black on white.

A style called "blackstealth" just appeared. Looks like the dark style, but gives black text on white background. Someone is back to "work"...

Rinse and repeat. :D

I just tested on Chrome and Firefox... no issues. Is your key stuck?edit: nevermind, I know what you are talking about now. A glitch in the coding it appears. I will look into it.

Yeah, it gives me a headache, with all those little holes and ****. Or maybe that's me hitting my head on the table, dunno. My smiley buttons don't work no more, and there's no italics or bold or anything. I'm being stylistically repressed. I liked it better when Noah couldn't log in LOL! (I JOKE I JOKE)

Yeah, all the editor controls are gone. I have to enter my emoticons manually...which I suck at )^! Some more info: I checked "enter" key in FF and Chrome, both have the same issue. If I go in and edit a post with my phone in Tapatalk, adding an enter, it then shows up in the post on my PC.

It looks like my smilies aren't smiling today either. ???? My typewriter and dictionary still work though.

I guess I'll whine a little too. In my profile, I tried to save "Default Style" as my main theme. But when I log in, it still reverts to the stealth look...the profile change doesn't stick for some reason. Not an emergency though.

What's the deal with this? It sure looks a lot different. What happened to Articles? And I get an add crowding out half the post at the top of each page.

An hour later and Articles is back.

Switched to "basic" text editor...seeing if enter works.

Yup, it works.

And so does the "standard" editor. So it's just the "WYSIWYG" editor that is eliminating enter chars.

Things like this will continue to happen until the problem is solved.

Realizing late last night that it would be near impossible for me to examine every piece of coding that the hackers hit last month, I opted instead to do an entire replacement and upgrade of the website.

EVERYTHING should be fine now.

Just looking at the spam-o-matic stats I can see the forum is assaulted with a couple thousand bogus registrations EVERY DAY. Thanks for your work Mike.

Thanks Mike. Everything is working well again - other than that warning message at the top of the screen when I first logged in. Since I have no idea what it means, it doesn't bother me. In any case, it doesn't appear again once the site says "hello" :)

Now having double posting issue - if you click the post button, it says you have to wait 30 sec, but I found out it does actually post. If you wait for the timer to run out and click post again, it double posts.
