I just found out about this company. They take bicycle forks and wheels, but you can get them with a moto seat. Built up with a dual crown fork, downhill wheels, and a beefy hub motor you'd have something like a superlight motocross (granted, with pedals, but you could probably fit pegs if you wanted to).

Yup, I should have said specifically for electric.

I'm not sure they would fit the swingarm, but some fat bike tires could make something pretty awesome. Not to turn this into ES, but it sort of bridges a gap. A friend of mine has a fat bike with a 72V hub motor - he rides it on street, trails, dirt roads, through the snow. For not being a motorcycle, it's pretty sweet.
