" So sorry to hear this flo.
Are you sure the components are bad and not an issue with the parameter program of the controller?
I can try and connect to my controller and maybe we can compare to find an error??
Maybe a video chat can help and we can look at each others settings? "

So here in CA there are like 20-30 candidates running for Governor...

How can anyone working a full time job with required overtime find the time to research and seek resources of information to weed out one person in which to vote for. I for one think that just picking someone because they are the same party as you is profoundly dumb and asinine!
So I started browsing the official CA election pamphlet that I received in the mail to try and narrow down the choices. This is what I found on page 23:

I'm going to have to write her in on my ballot!!!

" looks like a good concept to build a bike.
Why it would cost 18 grand still? must be the harley markup then..
other than that i am intrigued.

" About to give up...
Well after a lot of mailing to an d back and some anydesk sessions it seems that the sin cos encoder is doa.
Today the new one arrived but now i only get error messages... still not a single ride on the bike...
The guy, even friendly and knowledgeable only answers after a week and a remainder...
a new motorf7controller combo would be anything between 2 and 20 Weeks time...

By the time this bike gets on the road season will be over.
I am completely dissapointed by sevcon.
Following the guideline to only get a paired motor and controller has got me to spend 2300 Euros for 0,0 in return...

thinking about getting another kelly for lack of sources for a smc controller...

mid may and zero riding, worst riding season in 32 years

If the weight of the drive wheel is properly sprung and dampened, it could be used to actually improve drivability and torque. I wonder how well it could survive big bumps in an offroad version.

I still think electric hydraulic loops would be a good way to drive motorcycles... lighter and easier to add 2 wheel drive.
But this is awesome engineering for a street bike. "

Hdonly created the thread New Guy from NW Florida.
" First time on this forum. I have thought about building an electric motorcycle for a long time. I just haven't gone past the "thinking about it" stage. I already have too many projects going on but what the heck. Building a one-ton truck, working on an MGB, trying to get my old Harley and an '84 Goldwing back on the road so I surely need another project. I have a nearly complete Harley rolling frame with no motor or tranny. Why not electric? I am an old retired guy, so I do need to keep busy. "

Richard230 replied to the thread FortNine reviews recumbent motorcycles.
" Perhaps, "discussed" would have been a better adjective to use, but "reviewed" was the only word I could think of at the time. Anyway, the Electrom was an interesting prop to use as I had never heard of the vehicle before, much less seen one being ridden on the road. "

" Hi Richard, I wouldn't say that Ryan "reviewed" recumbent motorbikes so much as questioned and explored why they were not more popular. The prop bike used was my Electrom recumbent e-bike/moped. "

Jan created the thread My project and a problem.
" My project is a Husqvarna SM610 with a Golden Motors 10 kW brushless dc motor, 48V, 60A, 14S Nissan Leaf cells, a Kelly 70501 8080I controller and a "Speed throttle z6". I bought everything from miromax.lt (except for the frame of course). Only thing I have connected now is throttle, no regen braking and no "shift". (There is a slider button for low, high and normal speed.)
What's strange is, if I give full throttle and holds it for just a few seconds my bike dies and I have to shut everything down before restarting it again. Second thing is that it doesn't happen anything when I turn the throttle just a little.
Can it be a setting in the controller that cuts off when I am holdig full throttle? Attachment 8737 "

" These two new French electric motorcycle models look nice and clean. As French vehicle designs go these are not bad looking. Pretty traditional, with just a electric power pack lump inserted into the frame. Since they are low production bikes, their prices are not exactly bargains: https://thepack.news/rgnt-motorcycle...tore-in-paris/ "
