  1. thanks for the comment, hadn't seen your message until now. cool that you can appreciate the battery approach I took. I don't recall what the link I posted was, and sometimes alibaba vendors change the products at the links, but I did pay $25 per cell, plus about as much more just in shipping so it worked out to about $45-50 per cell. They were advertised as 100ah, but I think they are maybe used/refurbished because I'm getting about half of that in some of the cells, which essentially sets the limit for the whole pack. Still the right solution for me, since I needed 23 of them to fit for 72v and these were the most amp-hours I could get in a cell I could still fit 23 of.
  2. Hello,. I saw you fantastic build and had a question on the battery pack. How are they holding up a year later. I have a cb550 that I'm in the process of converting. I really like your design and your battery solution really unlocks everything. The link you provided shows 3.2v at 100 ah for $20. It seem really cheap and too good to be true. What am I missing? Thanks in advance.
