Hey guys,
I'm selling my electric motorbike, built myself with the help of this great community here on Elmoto.Net

Hi,
Unfortunately I cannot fit their Power modules, too high.
But how do you come to 60A/120A discharge ?
On page 6 of their spec sheet,...
Hey guys,
long time no post here,
I've been thinking about swapping my 26 Leaf cells for a while, range is down, would like more.
I've found this site:

Hey guys, long time I haven't posted anything.
Just updating my build thread with the latest look

8461
Not sure why the picture is so small, bigger format here:...
I would surely try to sell them and post here in the forum.
well good to read that the pack energy is higher but the size is mostly the same.
Looking forward to seeing them on the market.
thanks
Thanks Warren, these new Leaf cells could be an option. Any specs somewhere so we can see energy and power density versus Leaf Gen 1 ? I like the way they built them.
Hi guys,
Been a while since my last visit/post.
I'm still very happy with my build (pics here: https://www.facebook.com/zvexx.motorbike/).
I'm running on 26 Leaf cells, first gen bought in...
AC-30, more torque at low RPM, real fun to ride
Selling my AC-20 motor purchased in march 2012 and used for 2 seasons.
Always used with Curtis controller and temperature protection.
Shaft has been shorten to 56.2 mm
Painted black, running at 96...
Sorry, I read too fast.
I can pull 400-600 amps peak without going into danger zone.
The pack is wired 2p13s.
I think each module is rated 500 amps peak, so with 2p I could technically pull 1000...
26 modules, so about 96-104 volts.
Interesting.
On a related note, Nissan was supposed to stop producing the batteries themselves:

who's this junior member on the board ?
Cool
You will have space left for enough batteries ?
Tried GPS acceleration app today, to measure 0 to 100 km/h acceleration, could not get it to work because my GPS speed never got to zero, even though i was stopped, it was reading minimum 2 km/h. If...
thanks for the tip Richard, i've just installed the 2nd one, straightforward little app, i'll give it a try next week-end.
I wonder how accurate the GPS is for this kind of measure though, might...
I can also confirm these numbers above, 0.1kWh/km for moderate to rough riding , down to 0.08kWh/km for the boring rides LOL (280 kg build without driver and a few hills)
Hey Ian,
if you are not going to race with the bike on a track, then you shouldn't worry about the batteries getting hot. But your motor and controller should be nicely ventilated.
I'm still very pleased with my AC-23, riding AC-20 before.
Question: anyone knows what is the physical difference between the 2 motors ? They have about the same peak power and they have same...
thanks for the link,
it does involve a bit of work though, making sure not to short anything in the process or damaging cells.
thanks for the pics,
curious, judging by the size of the module (the pic where we see it next to the tools), how can you fit this in a motorbike ? You need to break it down further ?
i think it's not uploaded
unless the bike is white on a white background ;)
thanks for sharing
