Are on-line motorcycle forums slowly dying?

Revzilla seems to think that on-line motorcycle forums are dying and going the way of the dinosaurs, thanks to cell phones replacing desktop computers. Here is their short discussion article making their argument: https://www.revzilla.com/common-trea...g-up-and-dying

    Interesting subject.
Forums are by far the best way to get information about specific things IMO. For example, I belong to a Honda VFR Forum this is awesome. It has members chatting about ALL generations of this distinct and unique motorcycle. Very helpful at times.
However, I have found some solutions to personal situations using a YouTube search. But often times, there wont be a specific post, more likely a generic video about something similar, and often times the video wont be that helpful. I never found Facebook to be helpful for anything but gatherings or meet-ups, or keeping up with distant friends and family.
I like the fact that my cell phone can access the web, but I realize it's limitations of using it exclusively for this function. Yes, there are times the display is too small.
    Current rides: 2013 Suzuki GSX600R, '96 Honda Ohlins VFR, '03 Cannondale C440R, '03 Cannondale Cannibal, '06 Yamaha 450 Wolverine 4x4
    Current builds: eVOR.v3.4
    WORX.VOR.v3.2
