Hi all,
by coincidence i stumbled on a cad file for my frame at grab cad
As it was in catia format i had my buddy convert it at work for me.
I then imported my own drawings to see if all lines up.
luckylie the frame was zeroed around the swing axle - just as my fileset.
simply import and tada:

after rotating it 2mm forward it all lines up in every direction. virtually no error to be seen.

and looks good too.
pics minus my rudimentary frame which was just sort of a spacer...

Hi all,
late last year i bought a gen4 size4 and matching ME1115 for a good price here in europe.
Togetther with this IXAAT or whatever programming thingy as a matched bundle.
for dirfferent reasons i only got around to install it a few weeks ago.
Unfortunately i cannot get it to spin up.
I get a solid green LED with no error flashes and one can hear the motor reacting to throttle but not spinning

It seems that it "fires up" one phase but not getting to do so with the other 2
If i aply some torque to it i cn get it up to us about 2,5 KW but not to start spinning,

contactor closing all switches closed, no error LED...

I am out of ideas.

I can send you my dcf file to see if it will work with your motor.
Maybe Travis can send you the proper dcf for your motor, if he sees this.
If you want to try and upload my dcf into your controller, send me an email and I will send it to you. Just be sure to save your current one in case it fails to work for you.

I bought this programmed and paired as a set incl theis xaat thingy...
I have multiple printouts and screenshots and wiring shemes for it that the programmer supplied.
Even pics of my setup on his test stand...


SOOO it should work as it has run on his testbench..
I just do not know which teeny little detail keeps it from actually spinning.

As mentioned i get solid green Led, contactor closes, and the motor audible reacts to throttle imput.

I am confused and the seller simply does not reply to my mails eventhough he advertises aftersales support big time on his webpage...
Initial investigation on his shop found me only positive comments within the e-cart comunity for him...

It sounds like a simply tweak to be made with the xaat cable,,, unfortunately I don't have the experience to help you. Hopefully the og seller will.

About to give up...
Well after a lot of mailing to an d back and some anydesk sessions it seems that the sin cos encoder is doa.
Today the new one arrived but now i only get error messages... still not a single ride on the bike...
The guy, even friendly and knowledgeable only answers after a week and a remainder...
a new motorf7controller combo would be anything between 2 and 20 Weeks time...

By the time this bike gets on the road season will be over.
I am completely dissapointed by sevcon.
Following the guideline to only get a paired motor and controller has got me to spend 2300 Euros for 0,0 in return...


thinking about getting another kelly for lack of sources for a smc controller...

mid may and zero riding, worst riding season in 32 years

Flo sorry to read this! Did you think of any other controller brand like Fardriver or ASI etc? I see lots of builds using these with success. Hope you can resolve it quickly and enjoy your riding season!
