Any idea how the electric motor works here? what kind if electric motor produce so much power with low weight?
I am thinking its must be induction motor..

I don't know abut the IOM, but Triumph says that they don't plan to sell the TE-1 to the public. They say in a video interview that if they came out with an EV it would have less performance and range, presumably to get the price down and sales up. Something like a scooter or city bike was mentioned.So don't get too excited about Triumph's EV plans for the future. I suspect the TE-1 was powered by a government grant.

I think the decision is because battery technology just isn't up to the necessary standards that they require for EV motorcycles to be successful against petrol.
The rest of the EV technology is being held hostage!!
