    Thanks! I guess I forgot to say what I did. After the first stage of machining, I painted the whole piece flat black. Then lined it back up in the CNC and cut the lettering and pockets. Makes a "contrast cut".

    This is actually the first CNC piece I've made. Everything else so far was on a manual mill, or by hand.

    I must admit to being jealous. I can’t even afford to do testing, let alone building, right now. The contrast cuts look soo sweet.

    I'm seriously considering Headways for this build. 24s6p. Here's the frame design at this point.

    6 sheets of milled 1/2" HDPE. Covers on the outside keep the elements out. The center two have a small gap that sandwiches copper plates between the cells.

    The two lower-front mount points already exist on the frame. I'll need to weld the rest on somewhere.
