    Today I...........tell you about yesterday.
I got my battery pack. Woohoo!
    NOW.....the headaches really start.
I have mentioned SEVERAL times on this forum that I am NO electrician or electronics person.
I got the sense boards installed and am pretty much hung up for now.
I'm going to take a step back, slow down, and see what's next.
My goal was to be able to run the motor (its installed in the frame) with the battery pack and everything outside the bike prior to installing all of it. But (for me), it seems like that will not happen.
I'm going by the "step by step" instructions on the website and I have to say that what I feel is "step by step" differs a LOT from what they feel is "step by step".
Oh well, I will get through this.

Don't neglect your battery during your slow down. Although most lithium cells have an extremely low self discharge, the BMS can slowly drain the cells down over a matter of weeks to months. So either keep a regular schedule of checking and charging or remove the BMS for storage.

Thought it would come in handy. And don't ask why I'm perusing the Merry Tiller thread on the Tractor Forum. Just don't ask...

    Okay, yesterday.

Received the Zero S ZF9. Rode about 50 miles on the bike (45-50 mph), got an EV grin from my friends' two year-old. Not with the bike on, but he wanted to climb up and monkey with all the switches and mirrors. If you reached for the handlebars he'd shout "No!" and grab them himself After we went back in he hopped on his rocking horse and started rocking back and forth, mumbling bike bike bike to himself..

Today I need to sort out what I'm doing about luggage. I'd really like some way to combine the sport map with the eco regen braking (Zero's talked about this for a while but no details as of yet); failing that, I may reposition the sport/eco switch (fixed to the forks) or add another switch to the handlebars.

Rode to work today, hit 80 mph on the *way in. Expected to rain today. Hope the bike does okay, have every expectation it will.
