furyphoto: if you don't mind me asking. How much did it cost for the unit? For the install? did the install include running the 220 outlet? Where are you located?

To be completely honest, I don't know. It was advertised as included when we bought our new home, but when we moved in it wasn't there. After a few firmly toned emails to the developer, and a few phone calls to the lawyer, an electrician showed up to install it. So it either cost $0 or $435,000 depending on how you look at it .

The newer model sells on Amazon for $649, Mine was installed close to the electrical panel, 3/8 cable is about $3/foot we probably used about 15 ft, the breaker probably about $50-$80, The electrician was here for about 2 hours @ I dunno, $50-$80/hour maybe. It would probably cost about a grand if you were paying for it here in BC.

Of course, now I will have to figure out how to make my bike talk to it!? Looks like the AVC2 board from Modular EV Power should do the trick. Is it just me or are J1772 inlets expensive!

Finally got the rear wheel painted and remounted. New rear sprocket is much larger (and shinier!) than the old one. Online manuals are a godsend as well.IMG_1276.jpgIMG_1277.jpgIMG_1278.jpg
