The quality is so high on your bike that I don't think there would be any issues, and if there is it would be a minor technical issue. Like splinter had to engrave a warning on the brake reservoir cap to say "Only Use DOT4 fluid".

Your engineer would have pointed out any issues before you booked your appointment.

Update 17.3: as someone was saying earlier 90% done, 50% to go !

I brought the bike to the registration office today, they were pretty impressed, lots of people showed up, lots of questions and pictures.
But, there is a but, I did not get my license plate today
They listed a few little safety things to correct:
    - switch on the kickstand to prevent the bike from running if the kickstand is out
    - little blue LED when on high beam
    - my mirror was too small, need to be at least 50 cm2
    - my back flashers are not visible enough, need to make them slightly longer
    - my front beam is from Harley D, it does not have a position LED as required in Europe, bike shop gave me the replacement LED

WHen all this is corrected (i'll do the mods myself), i need to show them and i should receive my license plate.

That shouldn't take long I guess.

Nothing huge then but irritating. Switch on the kickstand can be painful to setup depending on how it all bolts together there.

Hugues, I just read this post over on the Moto Guzzi thread. Wanted to ask here so I don't divert that thread.

You said "I still need to improve my bottom balancing."

Are you sure you mean bottom balancing? The Orion top balances, so it will eventually top balance your pack. It should just be top balanced from the start.

I'm actually experimenting with bottom balancing, just want to see for myself.

So I "switched-off" top balancing on the Orion BMS by setting the "start balancing voltage " at 3.65. So it never gets to balancing.

I monitor discharge with a LVC signal from BMS to controller and charge with a HVC signal to charger, while keeping an eye on highest cell voltage, just in case

We'll see where this brings me.
