    Brammo Enertia Plus Experience Thread

    Hello

today I ordered my Enertia Plus at Vienna, Austria.
Seems that I will get it by december.

I want to use the bike a lot in the inner city traffic - currently I am doing this with my old Toyota Previa or with my nearly-that-old Yamaha WR 250.

Why did I decide for Brammo?
    - I looked for some scooters but they are all manufactured in china and have a huge lack of power
    - The enertia looks cool, a little bit like the old Moto6.5 (which I did not buy, has been too uncool in my former years, but now...)
    - Brammo is a nice name ;-)

So I like to post my experience...

Welcome Arnman. I think your choice of the Brammo Enertia Plus is a good one for urban travel. I will be looking forward to hearing how you like your Plus and hopefully you will post a few photos of your new bike and the city of Vienna.

You might also want to visit and become a member of this forum: http://brammoforum.com/index.php

P.S. I too thought the Moto 6..5 was a bit over done. I ended up buying a BMW F650 Funduro instead of that bike. While the 6.5 continues to look like it should be in a modern art museum, I still wouldn't want to be caught dead (or at least in a photo) riding one. I think the Empulse looks better, if for no other reason than it is a simpler styling design.

Thatīs about 20 years ago; and I really took a trial ride on the 6.5; Has not been a pleasure, and good look, digital cameras have not been invented so far, so thereīs also no photo from me and this creation of Philippe Starck.

Anyway, the winter in vienna is very cold, and if I really really get the + before christmas, I think I will be the only riding idiot in vienna... same as with age 16

    Hi Arnman,

Thanks to devices that can scan old photographic slides, here is a photo of me on my second motorcycle almost 50 years ago, getting ready for my first big trip. My first motorcycle, after a Vespa 125 and a Lambretta 150 Li, was a 1963 Yamaha YD-3 major air polluter. I owned those bikes before I owned a camera.

    Hi Richard

Day 2. Still no Brammo here in my garage
I showed now my sons the brammo videos. "Why are they so silent?" Hmm they only know my old WR250 and the KTMs.

Just to get a little bit OT, and while I am waiting. Funny picture! A first class air polution machine in the land of the CARB! Great!
I just scanned a 23 year old photo, my first bike, a XT500. A little bit dirty.

Now I joined the brammo forum and am reading, why maybe a Zero S should have been better ???
I think my choice is alright.

Pls excuse my poor english, the only english communication right now is to engineers in india. You know what this means...

    Hi Arnman,

Your English is fine. I just returned from my weekly trip to the grocery store and as I was in my garage unloading my stuff, our substitute mailman came up to me and said how quiet my Zero was. He seemed really impressed with the bike and said that this was the first electric motorcycle that he had seen. I think the fact that electric motorcycles are quiet is a big plus for the non-riding public - especially the ones that sleep-in as you leave for work during the morning.

That photo makes you look like Steve McQueen in the movie On Any Sunday.

So. As I am no Steve McQueen anymore, I am now sitting at my computer and waiting waiting waiting. My dealer told me that my Brammo will arrive at the beginning of december. Do you now Nikolo? We celebrate it here and as it seems he brings gifts to the good children.
Yes I have been good. Think so. Waiting.

Btw - Nikolo - Nikolaus - is the same person as Santa Claus. Sure you know. But earlier delivery than at your side on dec 24th ....

Good luck Arnmam. From what I hear, you are not the only one waiting. I sure hope both your dealer and Nikolo meet your delivery expectations.

Hello, Nikolo passed by on dec 6th, but no brammo arrived. But. But. But.
My dealer told me that the brammo is already out of hungary (east) and now in germany (west) to get some updates (hmm....) and will soon arrive in austria (mid). Thus, the circles are getting smaller and smaller.

    Hi Arnman,

On the Brammoforums FrankH from the Netherlands posted that his Enertia+ is at the dealership and is awaiting road registration and insurance.

Hopefully you will receive your Enertia+ very soon. They seem to be shipping to European customers as we speak.
