    Electric Harley Conversion

    Hey guys,

Anyone working on a Harley conversion? If I had the time I'd totally love to do one, very pricey but I think the hate from the ICE/loud exhaust purists would totally be worth it.

I found these guys were working on a harley conversion, looks pretty solid and a clean build but I can't find past episode 11 (where they get the batteries).

I also found this thread from a couple months ago

I think harley has been mentioning Electric model for at least 3 years... check out this article from 2011, i'm not buying it... especially when 80% of the harley revenue comes from its distinctive sound

Whenever i save up the cash, I'll start a harley conversion... what models do you guys recommend? I know nothing about Harleys except they are loud, expensive and 100% american.

So it stopped where they went to get the batteries huh? Looks like that's where they realised they couldn't complete it. Haven't told the wife how much mine is going to cost.

2nd that. All the Harley riders I've met while out with my bike have been really interested and supportive. Proof:

Gotta love stereotypes. My dad rides a '80 fx lowrider and he would love to be able to put together an electric one.
